RUBY BLUE DIRECTOR AND PRODUCER ATTENDING FESTIVAL
We are pleased to confirm that Jan Dunn and Elaine Wickham; The Director and Producer of Ruby Blue, starring Sir Bob Hoskins, will be joing us at The Festival for the screening of their film, and will also run a Q and A immediately after the film is finished.

RUBY BLUE, STARRING SIR BOB HOSKINS TO FEATURE AT THE FESTIVAL
Ruby Blue produced by medb films, a production company based in Ramsgate, completed Ruby Blue in 2007, with theatrical release in 2008. We are pleased to be showing a grat film, that stars one of our great British acting talents, Sir Bob Hoskins.

LANTERN AT THE TRINITY ARTS
The Lantern Media Festival has arrived. As of 5th September 2008 our main festival will be based at the well known, Trinity Arts Centre. A perfect venue for the Lantern to appear at. The Trinity has been the pinnacle for creativity in Tunbridge Wells now for many years. Submissions have now officially opened for the festival. Please see our Submissions page, for details on where to send your film, photography, art or music submissions.

'WE ARE ALL RWANDANS' AND ‘RED SANDS’
TO FEATURE AT THE FESTIVAL
An exciting independant short, from director Debs Gardner-Paterson, is to be screened at The Lantern Media Festival. Shot in Rwanda, 'We Are All Rwandans' has picked up several awards internationally, including 'Best World Cinema Short' at the Phoenix Film Festival. Also ‘Red Sands’ a short doc based around the San Fermin Fiesta, Spain, will be screened at The Festival. An Intelligent, thought provoking insight into Spanish culture and age old tradition.
